I have driven the south coast of Iceland many times, across the past 3 years I have visited a few times and covered some serious mileage in various rental cars. Mostly alone, and most recently with my boyfriend, I have spent days through the depth of winter and across the endless hours of midnight sun exploring between Reykjavik and Höfn. From black sand beaches, to waterfalls, to geoparks and glaciers, I have seen so much of the south of Iceland and some of the highlands and yet it seems like there is still twice as much that I have not yet seen. Iceland is a place you can visit again and again and not actually repeat your holiday. I hope I can be fortunate enough to visit this country many more times, to capture it’s beauty and deepen my knowledge for the landscapes that lie there.
