I hope your August is off to a great start!
We finally made it camping, and it turned out to be one of the easiest camping trips we’ve ever taken. I think what made it so easy was the lack of planning.
We decided the night before that the next day was the perfect time to go. All we needed were sleeping bags, sleep pads, a tent, and, of course, s’mores. We had hot dogs for dinner and pastries for breakfast. Nothing fancy, and somehow, that made it even better.
I usually likes to plan out a trip, but after this spontaneous little getaway, I thought maybe I need more impromptu trips like this. If I spent less time trying to plan the perfect getaway, we might actually fit in more of them.
