Happy Wednesday, dear friend and reader,
I hope your week is going well.
Most students are heading back to school around this time, but we’re blessed to still have two more weeks of summer break. Of course, that also means it’s time to start getting ready—shopping for school uniforms, picking up the last few things the kids need, and attempting to adjust sleep schedules.
I say attempting because my kids would much rather enjoy every last late morning and deal with waking up early on the first day of school. 😂
But we parents can’t stop trying to encourage them to prepare ahead, right?
Now, onto books…
One of the most inspiring stories in the Bible for me has always been the book of Job. His story of loss, faith, perseverance, and restoration has stayed with me for years, so at some point, I knew I had to write a romance inspired by it.
And that became Eric and Joy’s story.
If you’re looking for an emotional Christian romance that might make you cry, make you laugh, and hopefully leave you praising God by the end, this is one I’d love for you to read.
I felt every twist and turn while writing Eric and Joy. The heartbreak, the questions, moments of laughter, and finally, the real victory on the other side. Hearing from readers who were encouraged and inspired by their journey has made this story even more special to me.
This story can be read as a Standalone. Although this book is part of The Caregiver Series, it also introduces the spin-off Billionaires’ Reunion Series, which follows Eric’s brothers and their own love stories.
So if you haven’t met Eric and Joy yet, this might be the perfect time. ❤️

Despair held him captive. Can her love break his chains? After a deadly fire robbed him of his wife and children, billionaire Eric Stone clings to God and buries himself in work to distract himself from his grief. But when a mysterious illness takes away his ability to work, Eric must retreat to his childhood home to rest and recover. Grief-stricken and hopeless, he is irritated by his new care taker’s enthusiasm for life. But against his will, her sunny outlook makes inroads.
Joy Musana got a new lease on life after beating cancer four years ago. Now, she lives every day to serve God and others. In her opinion, the grumpy CEO she is caring for doesn’t need her sympathy—but making him smile is her priority.
For those who prefer binge-reading a complete series, the Billionaires’ Reunion series is officially finished!
Why you’ll love A Legitimate Date…
A legitimate Date is Book 1 in the standalone series.
Fall in love with The Billionaires’ Reunion Christian Romance series while catching up with the big Stone Family as they reunite in their scenic small-town.There’s several seasons of love and adventure in this spin off series following Eric Stone’s siblings from The CEO’s companion in the caregiver series. With each family member taking a turn to coordinate a family gathering, there’s plenty of laughter, tears and Happily Ever Afters. (You don’t need to have read The Caregiver series first to enjoy this series.)
A New Christian Romantic Commedy from Liwen Ho
The one man I’m falling for is the one man I absolutely shouldn’t want.
As a professional event planner, I’m used to managing chaos. My own love life, however, is another story. Especially after I meet my brother’s new brother-in-law and discover he looks like he walked straight out of a romance novel.
Tall? Check.
Piercing blue eyes? Check.
Broody enough to make my heart do inconvenient things? Double check.
Unfortunately, Zane Beckett also happens to be a famous actor. And our first meeting gets off to a rocky start when he finds out I’ve never seen any of his movies.
Sorry! (Not sorry!)
God bless you and thanks again for being one of my greatest inspiration!
With love,
Rose Fresquez
