I hate asking for money. 0/10, don’t love it.

But in a race as close as this one, there’s no way around it. Grassroots supporters like you are the only reason we’re able to compete with the partisan backers propping up Zach Lahn’s campaign.

We depend on that grassroots support to make crucial budgeting decisions: When and where we run ads, how many events we can host, when we can recruit and train staff, all sorts of stuff.

Those decisions are a lot easier to make when we’ve got resources. But right now, we’re nowhere near our weekly digital fundraising goal, and it’s already Thursday. Not great.
