It’s been a spectacular last couple of weeks for Hercules Metals shareholders—since bottoming at $.54 per share on July 20th, BIG.V shares have more than doubled!

The proximate cause for the huge share price surge is the management team transformation led by current CEO Chris Paul, and incoming CEO George Ogilvie.
On July 30, 2026 Hercules Metals (TSX-V:BIG, OTC:BADEF) announced the appointment of the now former Arizona Sonoran Team, to lead the Company and its Leviathan copper-silver porphyry discovery through its next phase of growth. Effective September 1, 2026, the full incoming leadership team will assume key positions within the Company, while its founder, Chris Paul, will transition to Senior Vice President, Exploration. The incoming former Arizona Sonoran Team led by George Ogilvie is comprised of Nick Nikolakakis, Nick Hayduk, Travis Snider, Alison Dwoskin, Kevin Canario and Anthony Bottrill.
Mr. Market loves the prospect of the transformed Hercules management team that includes strong IR, resource modeling, exploration geologists, and experts at mine development and community/government relations.
I connected with Hercules Metals CEO Chris Paul for an update on the latest developments in Idaho, including drilling, and new management additions. We also took a trip back in time and discussed the journey of Hercules Silver/Metals since 2021.
There were many key takeaways from this conversation, let’s review some of them:
There is potential for more drill rigs to arrive at the Hercules Property by end of September.
The Grade Creek Zone (strongest silver soil anomaly in the entire Belt) is on the agenda to be drill-tested by the end of 2026.
Hercules plans to extend the Leviathan Hanging Wall mineralization to the northeast, in doing so it will drill through some of the strongest parts of the shallow epithermal silver system.
After hole 26-03, the Hook Target has become a top priority—Chris said that he doesn’t expect the hole will deliver a strong high-grade interval, but he’s seen enough (porphyry alteration and mineral assemblage) to confirm there is potential for the robust IP anomaly to represent an intact porphyry center at Hook.
Hercules will permit a road in the Hook Area on U.S. Forest Service claims, in addition to ten drill pads under a USFS CatEx (categorical exclusion).
The drill rigs have moved to the ‘Gap Zone’ between the Belmont Area (southern Leviathan Trend) and Southern Flats—there is mounting evidence that indicates Southern Flats and Leviathan could be connected.

The Hercules chart in August is an example of the expression “It doesn’t matter until it matters, and then it matters a lot.”—the fact the management team transformation was announced on virtually the same week that the White House made a big announcement in support of U.S. mining is pure serendipity.
I’ve had the shaded green rectangle on this chart for a long time, this week’s breakout has significant implications from a technical analysis standpoint.
