No! Shame on you! I’m NOT talking about beds being unmade! You just TRY making beds every day while you’re fostering a bunch of tiny, squirmy kittens!
I’m talking about sweet Daisy, our dog.
From the time she first encountered foster kittens seven years ago, back in our Santa Fe days, Daisy has been fascinated by the tiny things. She follows them around, then they follow her around, and so the time passes.

When the kittens go off to their forever homes, they are replaced by a new litter, and Daisy has to begin studying them all over again.

I know what you’re going to ask. We have two dogs, right? Daisy and Molly? So, why isn’t this photo essay about both dogs?
Molly doesn’t even seem to notice them. She’s quite happy letting this be Daisy’s little thing.

For her part, Daisy says she’s publishing a photo book soon, the culmination of seven years of kitten research.
