I will shorten this a bit before I publish it, leave some of the character work for the longer piece this sets up. While there will be vampires, I do have plans for other creatures. Perhaps some traditional vampire rival that the organisation is asked to help with? Who knows?
I’m teasing a lot about Hitch and her condition here, alluding to certain things that may or may not happen. Either way, she needs a satisfying ending that I do not have just yet.
In the longer piece, I will also expand this world a bit, opening it up to more stories, more characters etc.
Have you figured out what Viola is, by the way?
