Welcome to River Brook Blueprint, a place where we’ll share the thinking, process, details, and behind-the-scenes realities of design, construction, furnishings, and everything in between.

We created this publication because over the years, we’ve realized how many questions exist around what actually goes into creating a home. From floor plans and construction sequencing to lighting placement, furnishings, renderings, budgeting, installations, and final photoshoots, so much happens behind the scenes that people rarely get to see.

River Brook Blueprint is our opportunity to pull back the curtain.

Here, we’ll share the projects we’re currently working on, projects we’ve completed, lessons learned on site, favorite details, unexpected challenges, and the countless decisions that shape a finished home. Some posts will be highly technical. Others will focus on design philosophy, process, materials, furnishings, or the quieter details that often matter most.

We’ll walk through before-and-after renovations, explain how we approach kitchen and lighting design, share furnishing and installation processes, answer frequently asked questions, document projects in real time, and explore everything from renderings and workflow systems to drapery proportions and construction logistics.
