Today, The Bridge Back to You has hit shelves in the U.S.
(April 16th for my UK readers)
I am a FOUR times published author. 😭. It’s wild to say those words out loud, thinking of where I was only six years ago when I was a CNA and being an author felt like a wild dream.
& then there’s this specific book. Bridge was the hardest I’ve ever had to work to get a book out of me and into the world. This wasn’t the story I thought would follow up behind A Love Like the Sun & in fact, I thought I’d have an entirely different book out last year that I worked on for a while. More on that here in my authors note that you will hopefully get to read in full if you’ve pick up a copy 🥰 :
I feel relief? Self love? Some peace knowing I really picked myself up out of the darkest place of my life after turning it in to my editor and I’m ready to show up fully and enjoy the fact that there’s another book that’ll sit on shelves with my name on it. And it helps so much that early readers have told me they felt seen by Olivia and Carmello and the mental health representation in these pages 💕
^ Anyway, I already got to sign books at my local indie Heartleaf (3 books in a row now signing with them first 🥺✨)
& I’m so excited to kick off my tour today in celebration of this book with Carissa Broadbent.
