Out of Office

Dear Kind Subscribers and Readers,

I’m planning to step back from my effort to communicate most days for the rest of August. I’m feeling overwhelmed at the moment. A little perspective will be helpful

I’m wrapping up my book (more of a grad school thesis, really) on angertainment. I’m working on making some short videos about “stuff.” I’m thinking more about music. I’ve got the final volume of a multi-multi-volume sci-fi series that I loved and then got bored with. It got to be endlessly wordy and a bit of a polemic. But, according to my buddy Copilot, this last volume gets back to the form of the early novels, so I’m giving it a shot. Bringing my guitar. Practice, practice, practice.

I’m going to try to share things from time to time, but I’m turning the pressure off on myself to be “out there” most days.

Time for a little R&R.
