How did 60,000 Moroccans invade Ceuta (Spain)?

It is quite easy really. The Moroccan government organized it, bussed people in and told them to go for it, even swim around the bay to get in. No problem. 40-50 people then drowned in the process. Now within one week, the vast majority have returned to Morocco. So what happened?

Well, the U.S. and Israel wanted to teach Spain a lesson for having the audacity to question Israel’s slaughter in Gaza and to refuse to allow the U.S. to use it military bases in Spain to bomb Iran. Simple. So as Morocco is a signee to the Abraham Accords, which involves both economic and military alliances and is close to Israel, they were willing to do the dirty work for the U.S. and Israel.

Netanyahu had already threatened Spain before saying “Spain will pay an immediate price”, and in the last 3 months, there have been statements from the U.S. House Subcommittee on National Security by Mario Diaz-Balart, who is very close to Marco Rubio, that the Spanish enclaves of Ceuta and Millela (and smaller islands) “are not in the geographic territory of Spain but rather in Moroccan territory and their fate should be discussed among friends and allies.” Also Michael Rubin of the American Enterprise Institute ( a neo-con mouthpiece) also recommended Moroccan recognition of Ceuta and Millela. So this has been brewing for a little while. The Israeli media were in fact more honest, with Ynet admitting Israel was involved in this, stating that “Israel has unusual leverage on America.” Essentially this is Israel using its influence to challenge ANY country in the world that does question its actions. So, as Spain had voiced their concerns, a lesson needed to be given to them.

Spain did also annoy Morocco by reaching out to Algeria, who are Morocco’s sworn enemy in the region, with the border closed between the two countries. And a recent Supreme Court ruling in Spain also annoyed Morocco, but this goes deeper than that.

Ceuta, Millela and other smaller enclaves have been part of Spain for about 500 years. Given the history of the whole region, the shifting borders of countries is nothing new. Let’s not forget that the Muslim invasion if the Iberian peninsula began in the AD710 and a long series of Muslim kingdoms controlled the region until the final fall of the Granada kingdom in 1492. Spain and France and others had been in North Africa after that, with France having Algeria and Morocco as part of their colonies until the Algerian civil war and then Morocco’s independence since 1956. Morocco always contested Spanish dominion over the enclaves but in all international agreements and with the United Nations, they have been accepted as part of Spain.

However, the impact on European relations has already been seen with PM Meloni of Italy posturing that she may cancel the Schengen arrangement with Spain, which allows free movement within all of Europe. The cracks in unity within the EU are an area of great vulnerability for Europe and can easily be exploited by bad actors like the U.S. and Israel. They partly deserve it for being so weak and complicit in USrael’s vicious agenda of global destablisation, so this may be a wake up call for Europe.

For the U.S. to suddenly provoke further confrontation here is the height of hypocrisy, just after its ousting of Venezuela’s leader, and its occupation of territories such as Puerto Rico, various Caribbean and Pacific islands and even Hawaii. Not to mention having military bases parked all over the world. Yankees go home will be a new rallying cry across the world if this kind of shit continues. The Gulf State are already reconsidering their relationship with the U.S. after they were bombed by Iran for allowing the U.S. to use bases in their countries to attack Iran.
