This second installment features another criminally overlooked song, this one from the mercurial frontman of indie gods Guided By Voices. At the end of the ‘90’s Robert Pollard released a solo album called Waved Out. Like so many albums that emanate from Pollard’s brain (and there are so many), this one contains a couple of truly wonderful songs, none moreso than the perfect “Subspace Biographies.” Upon its release I absolutely burned this song out. Then I had to step away from my obsession and in the intervening decades I had all but forgotten about it.
