Sahan Jayasuriya is the author of the recently released and highly excellent Don’t Say Please: The Oral History of Die Kreuzen. Covering all ten years of the Midwestern band’s existence,it is an enlightening read that follows them from their humble beginnings in the nascent American Hardcore underground to the creation of genre-smashing releases like October File (1986) and Century Days (1988).
