I opened the link and got read-only access which is all I needed. Some entries kept thinking the 6502 version was “emulator.” That and the 6800 version were both translations from 8080 Processor Technology #1 assembler, not emulation. Some postings got it right. I encouraged translations and freely licensed my work under Gnu Public License (GPL).

Hey there,
I’m a software developer nearing retirement and as part of retirement planning I have a number of older software projects I want to work on. Including one I’d like to release next April.
My dad was a programmer back in the 60s and he taught me BASIC on the Apple ][. I later learned it on a C64 and then in high school did a CS class using Turbo Pascal. After that I’ve just stuck with various Unixes and their little flightless friend. And while I’d be of the view that Unix systems are saner, I do have fond memories of those older systems and would hope to give a little bit back.
