And nature seems to agree. Quantum effects appear in photosynthesis, helping plants harvest sunlight with impossible efficiency. Birds navigate Earth’s magnetic field using quantum coherence in their eyes. Even in the “wet and noisy” environment of biology, quantum processes persist.
We live in a cosmos governed by elegant laws but indifferent to our personal hopes. It is vast, chaotic, violent, and ancient beyond comprehension. Stars explode. Black holes devour. We are the coherence‑makers. The interpreters. The ones who take the raw, chaotic stew of information and weave it into stories, values, relationships, and purpose. We collapse quantum probability into form simply by being here—by observing, by choosing, by caring.
