How to work with Maysplash DolphinBar and Wiimotes on Ubuntu?

Ubuntu 24.04. I can't seem to get my Maysplash DolphinBar to be properly recognised, as well as having any inputs within Dolphin Emulator. I don't know what to do and I might have missed some very difficult steps that require the use of terminal or scripts to run. I am a no-good at this, very casual user that almost the entire life used Windows OS, so there is nothing I know of how to fix things…
