How to point different programs at different python versions

I am using yt-dlp which I installed with pipx on Ubuntu 22.04. It required python3.11 or higher, so I installed python3.11 for it to use, and after relinking /usr/bin/python3 to point from python3.10 to python3.11 yt-dlp worked properly. However, gnome-terminal will not launch if python3 points at python3.11 instead of python3.10. From what I can see yt-dlp only works if python3.11 is linked to…
