March was a month of enriching experiences and valuable learning opportunities for our dedicated staff. We kicked off the month with comprehensive CPR and First Aid training, ensuring that we are well-prepared to handle any situation that may arise.
Mid-March marked our co-sponsorship of the phenomenal DIRFloortime conference with ICDL at the Javits Center. The event was a resounding success, with over 650 attendees and every breakout session featuring a presentation by a member of the Rebecca School staff.
Looking ahead to April, we are proud to continue our annual support of Reelabilities. As part of our professional development days, we will be screening one of the films from this inspiring festival that celebrates diversity and inclusion.
We’re also excited to announce that April 15th-19th will be Spirit Week!! Stay tuned for more details!
On a final note, I’ve been spending time at our new location on 21st Street, and it’s thrilling to see the construction progress. Our plan is to hold summer school at our current 30th Street location and start the new academic year in September at our new home at 35 East 21st Street. Look forward to some pictures in our next newsletter!
