Documentary Preview: "GENERATION MADHOUSE"

Hi all! In 2023, Matt Flesch released his brilliant documentary Last Comiskey about the 1990 White Sox.

Now he’s closing in on his next documentary about Chicago Stadium. And a 30-minute preview screening is coming next week.

Generation Madhouse celebrates Chicago Stadium from both the Bulls and Blackhawks side. Next week, Thursday, Aug. 27, Matt will be debuting a free, 30-minute preview at the Arlington Heights Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave.

Unfortunately I won’t be there, but I would if I could, because I’ve seen a lot of his material and even sat in on a few interviews, and I can tell you, this doc is going to be another nostalgic masterpiece just like the Sox documentary.

Matt and I connected after he released Last Comiskey and started sharing resources across his doc and my book 6 Rings. I’m proud to be a small part of his movie, as both an Associate Producer and an interview subject as a Bulls fan and Chicago’s Sports Historian. His movie has a release date of 2027.

To date, around 80 people have been interviewed for Generation Madhouse, including Ed Belfour, Bill Cartwright, Cathy Core, Chris Chelios, Ray Clay, Nancy Faust, Pat Foley, Steve Larmer, Jocelyn Lemieux, Wayne Messmer, Dick Motta, Troy Murray, Will Perdue, Jeremy Roenick, Denis Savard, Steve Schanwald, Al Secord, Scott Williams, Danny Wirtz, relatives of Tom Boerwinkle, Bob Love and Jerry Sloan, and lots of fans, vendors, other stadium workers and media members.
