The warning comes as Tehran-linked Houthi rebel forces resume attacks on Saudi Aramco energy infrastructure, raising concerns that the conflict is spreading geographically and pushing Brent crude futures higher.

Ukraine went to China to buy the drone. China refused. Two years later, the MICH 2000 costs $2,000 less than the original—and just took out a Russian bomber. one-way attack drones from the Ukrainian state security service—the vaunted SBU—motored 800 km to strike Engels-2 air base in western Russia. Satellite imagery later confirmed the bomber’s destruction.

France approves assisted dying for adults with incurable conditions
France’s Constitutional Council has approved legislation that gives adults suffering from an incurable condition the right to assisted dying. At the same time, the court ruled that certain provisions need clarification. France thus joins the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and Canada, which have already legalized assisted dying.

American missionary Kevin Rideout released in Niger after nine months in captivity
50-year-old Kevin Rideout “is doing well and is being cared for by American representatives,” says the Christian missionary organisation Sim International, for which he worked. Rideout was kidnapped in October last year, outside his home in the capital, Niamey.

Drone shot down over eastern Latvia by NATO fighter jets, defense ministry says
A foreign drone was shot down in the airspace over eastern Latvia by fighter jets on a NATO mission, the Latvian Ministry of Defense said on X. The drone entered Latvian territory “as a result of Russian electronic warfare,” the Defence Ministry added. Finland temporarily closed areas to air and sea traffic in the Gulf of Finland as a security measure against drones, the country’s military said on X.

China’s latest maglev train reaches 800 km/h in 5.3 seconds
From zero to 800 kilometers per hour (497 Mph) in 5.3 seconds. And then quickly back down to zero. The new record has been set by a Chinese train on a test track in Hubei province. The trains are of the maglev type, meaning carriages that lack wheels and are kept suspended by magnets. Propulsion is also provided by magnets along the sides, which “pull” the train.

Astronomers Discover an Entirely New Type of Object: a “Black Hole Star”
Astronomers using the James Webb Space Telescope have discovered a new type of cosmic monstrosity: a “black hole star.” The glowing red object, dubbed MoM-BH*-1, is 100,000 times more massive than our Sun and is trapped in a shell of gas so thick that it looks like a star the size of the entire solar system. The International Atomic Energy Agency is expected to remove the material from the facility, known as “Site 99,” under an agreement reached with the government of Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa about three weeks ago,

Trump said the declaration would come “after we [the US] finish defeating Iran,” which he described as being “very badly defeated.”
