Brandon Holthaus - https://brandonholthaus.com/israel-in-the-crosshairs-the-prophetic-pressure-is-building/
There is a reason I continually tell people who study Bible prophecy to keep their eyes on Israel. It is not because every conflict involving Israel fulfills a prophecy, nor because we should take every newspaper headline and try to force it into a Bible verse. It is because God has already told us where history is going. When we understand that prophetic framework, we can look at what is happening in the Middle East and recognize when the geopolitical environment begins moving toward the conditions Scripture says will eventually exist.
That is why several developments taking place right now have my attention. Israel is facing pressure from two very different directions. Across the Muslim world, significant military relationships are developing, including a new defense agreement involving Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan. At the same time, Israel is facing increasing diplomatic pressure over Gaza, Hamas, Israeli military withdrawals, Palestinian governance, and ultimately the continuing push for a Palestinian state. Israel is dealing with growing security concerns from the Islamic world while simultaneously being asked by the international community to make decisions that could affect its ability to defend itself. When these developments are placed alongside Psalm 83, Ezekiel 38–39, Isaiah 28, Joel 3, and Zechariah 12, I believe some important prophetic trends deserve our attention.
By Mark Hitchcock - https://harbingersdaily.com/the-future-of-the-temple-mount-what-the-bible-says-about-the-most-explosive-flashpoint-in-the-middle-east/
The 37-acre Temple Mount in Jerusalem is ground zero for the events of the end times, and it’s back in the headlines as the most explosive flashpoint in the Middle East—and probably the whole world.
The Temple Mount is the previous location of two Jewish temples. Solomon’s Temple was built there 3,000 years ago until 586 BC, when it was destroyed by the Babylonians. When the Jewish people returned from exile, they built a second temple, which the Romans destroyed in AD 70.
It is considered the third holiest site in Islam—even though Jerusalem is not mentioned specifically in the Quran. The Dome of the Rock is a Muslim shrine that marks the site from which Muhammad supposedly ascended to heaven. In addition, the Al-Aqsa Mosque sits at the southern end of the Temple Mount.

Some of the things that caught my attention about this great song are that the quartet believes:
• When Earth is no more.
• Life will surely come to an end.
• Faith in the resurrected Jesus will overcome death.
• Jesus has the power to change our life.
The most important thing we can do in life is to cling to the one who died on the old rugged cross.
Paul Harvey, a well-known radio commentator, became famous by talking about “The Rest of The Story.”
I believe death or the Rapture (and eventually a destroyed Earth) are certain, but they are not the end of the story.
Here are some recent events that cause me to believe the end of the age is near:

It appears that most of the population has become way too apathetic about the threat of nuclear war. There are people on social media that cheer as both sides continue to escalate the conflict in Ukraine, and there are people on social media that are openly advocating for nuclear weapons to be used in the Middle East. I don’t think that such people actually understand the immense destructive power of modern nuclear weapons. Even a limited nuclear exchange would kill millions, and an all-out nuclear war would cause a nuclear winter that could kill billions. Unfortunately, it appears that we are now closer to nuclear war than ever before.
In recent months, Russia and Ukraine have been absolutely pummeling each other with long-range strikes.
The escalations that we have been witnessing have been absolutely shocking, but the mainstream media in the western world hasn’t been giving these escalations the attention that they deserve.
Terry James - https://terryjamesprophecyline.com/2026/08/17/rapture-conditions-increasing/
While scanning Rapture Ready News, I was stopped by the first headline:
While The World Burns, The Stock Market Is Soaring To New Heights Never Seen Before
The story was written by a person who almost always presents news that shows just how near we are to entering the Tribulation. In some cases, he seems to be saying we are already in the beginning of that terrible time, which also known as “Daniel’s seventieth week.”
At any rate, the writer is an avid anti-pre-Trib Rapture advocate—not believing Christ will rescue Christians from the Tribulation.
I, of course, do believe conditions of the world today are troublesome in many ways. It does seem sometimes that we’re having unusual signals from Heaven of the coming Tribulation plight that the anti-God rebels of earth deserve. Things such as the following make the point: the murder of millions of babies in their mothers’ wombs and the constant “pride” events in Sodom-like displays of homosexuals flaunting their wickedness in God’s holy face.

“Shoftim,” Judges, Deuteronomy 16:18–21:9, begins with Moses commanding Israel to appoint judges and officers in every city of the Promised Land to decide civil, domestic and religious controversies. Their standard was uncompromising: tzedek, tzedek tirdof, “justice, justice shall you pursue” (Deuteronomy 16:20). Justice required righteousness and impartiality. This reflected Jethro’s advice (Exodus 18:19-20) to Moses to establish a hierarchy of judges over the people. Convictions required two or three witnesses, while difficult cases went before a higher court. Moses also foresaw Israel’s future desire for a king chosen by the LORD, Torah obedient, who would personally copy a Torah scroll and keep it throughout his reign.
Shoftim continues with prohibitions against idolatry and blemished sacrifices, laws concerning property boundaries and truthful testimony, cities of refuge, regulations governing warfare, and atonement for unsolved murders so guilt would be removed from the land. Moses also spoke of a prophet like himself who would come, a prophecy pointing toward Messiah. Running through these instructions is a common thread: God established boundaries to protect His people from injustice, corruption and sin. Judges sat at the gates of ancient cities because the gate was where disputes were settled and harmful influences confronted. “Judges and officers you shall appoint in all your gates” (Deuteronomy 16:18). The gate became both a physical place of judgment and a powerful picture of personal responsibility.
The sages connected those gates with the entrances to the human heart, the eyes, ears and other senses through which the world enters us. God commanded Israel to write His words “on the doorposts of your house and on your gates” (Deuteronomy 6:9), while warning His people against straying after their hearts and eyes. Just as Israel appointed gatekeepers to protect its cities, we need gatekeepers protecting our hearts. Proverbs 4:23 says, “Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.” Yeshua explains the reason in Luke 6:45: the good or evil stored within a person eventually comes out through his words. What enters the heart becomes part of the storehouse from which we live.
What fills our hearts inevitably shapes our lives and influences those around us. Each of us therefore carries a personal responsibility to guard what passes through our gates. God has given us His Word, written upon our hearts, and the Holy Spirit to guide, convict and strengthen us. Paul prayed in Ephesians 1:18 that “the eyes of your understanding being enlightened,” we might know the hope of God’s calling and the riches of His inheritance. Through those “eyes of our hearts,” we discern truth, choose our direction and deepen our relationship with God. May the LORD give light to the eyes of our hearts. May we pursue justice, reject corruption and guard our gates vigilantly, because what we permit into the heart eventually determines what flows from our lives.

He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day.
—Psalm 91:4–5
https://harvest.org/resources/devotion/sheltered-in-his-wings/ - Listen
I read a story about a farmer who watched in dismay as his farm burned to the ground. After the fire, he walked around the charred rubble of his farm and found the body of a hen that had been burned in the fire. Frustrated, the farmer gave the hen a kick with his boot, and it turned over dead. But underneath was a little chick, who was still alive. When the fire ignited, the mother hen scurried over to her chick and wrapped her wings around him to protect him. She lost her life in the process, but her chick lived.
The psalmist uses similar imagery to describe the safety and refuge that God’s people find in the Lord: “He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day” (Psalm 91:4–5 NLT). The picture of a mother bird hovering around her young may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you consider your relationship with the Lord. But it’s a valid description—and a comforting one. God’s people can take refuge in the Almighty. He will put His wings around us. He will protect us.
That means we can have courage, even when the world around us seems hostile and frightening. That courage comes not because of who we are, but because God is with us. His truth is our shield. He is always present to guide and protect us.
Psalm 91:5 says, “Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day” (NLT). God will be with us day and night, come hell or high water, through thick and thin.
Take special note of the psalmist’s use of the word arrow. The apostle Paul also uses it in Ephesians 6:16, where he warns us of “the fiery arrows of the devil” (NLT). In biblical times, arrows played a significant role in battle. Soldiers often would light their arrows and barrage their opponents with them. They would fire hundreds, even thousands, of flaming arrows. If you wanted to live, you had to protect yourself from those fiery missiles.
Spiritually speaking, the devil fires flaming arrows at us as well. Some might be flaming arrows of fear. Others might be flaming arrows of impure thoughts or flaming arrows of hatred. Whatever the case, God promises to protect us from all of them. We will still suffer difficulties in life, of course. But God promises that He will be with us no matter what we go through.
He will shield us, so we have no reason to fear.

"Folks, it's all beginning to unravel. America is in more danger of falling than at any time in its history. But I believe Bible prophecy predicts this very decline. From this point on, we believers have to get serious. We are going to face discouragement, disillusionment and, most certainly, persecution in the time between now and the Rapture. But don't be discouraged or disillusioned. The coming turmoil will provide us unrivaled opportunities to share the good news of the Gospel. So be ready to share your faith and your hope with those who need Christ. We still have time to reap a great harvest of souls for God's kingdom!" - Hal Lindsey
