Lots of new faces around here, so welcome! Welcome to the weekly meal plan, where I share the 5 dinner recipes I made this week as well as prep instructions, grocery lists, and pantry staples. Whole ingredients only, of course :)
Week 6 of our whole foods only meal plan highlights the simplest version of a marinade - honey & citrus over high quality protein sources. This week’s feature meals include my viral corn & avocado based steak salad, the tastiest salmon ever, and more. And the best part - we double batch our meat prep so that we only have to cook a few times a week! Read on for meals, prep guides, grocery lists and pantry staples, and recipes!
The protein this week is salmon heavy because I feel like we’ve been missing out on our heathy omega fats recently. Then, to balance it out we end the week with delicious steak, a naturally iron-rich protein.
Our lineup includes:
Honey Glazed Salmon & Peach Bowl - for when you need the tastiest way to eat salmon and enjoy the end of stone fruit season
Salmon & Garlic Green Bean Bowl - A classic way to enjoy the rest of the salmon but keep it super simple in the kitchen
Honey Lime Steak Salad - Quite literally my most viral recipe of all time, for good reason
Herby Steak, Sweet Potato, and Garlic Asparagus - Just another simple and delicious way to enjoy the rest of the steak we prepped
Loaded Chicken Bowl with Homemade Spicy Mayo - for the end of week fridge veggie cleanout, with the most delicious whole foods sauce of all time
And like I said, we’ll cook all the salmon on one night and all the steak on another - so it’s like meal prepping the time consuming stuff to save a TON of time the next night.
Gluten-free and easily made dairy-free with simple swaps, this menu is what I followed this week. And the best part - it uses whole, real foods.
Okay let’s get into the FULL lineup:
