something kind of crummy about the current state of the internet (& there is a lot) is that i can never remember where i saw anything anymore. and endless stream of content to parse through, flashing before our eyeballs every waking moment… so today i saw a post, somewhere, by someone, that said the past lives within us. in our memories and in our bodies. it was along the lines of that, and it felt prevalent as we move forward into a new year, spiraling onwards as time does.

i want to take a moment to reflect on the past. both the past year & farther into my past hold meaningful wisdom for building our future. to get personal, a lot has changed for me this year. i moved from my apartment to a house, i moved from angels to trinket, i moved in and out of and between friendships. i think i did my best to move away from things that were hindering me and towards my truth. and as we all know, as we are all painfully reminded over and over again, the only real universal truth is change. some say the only truth is death, but i think that is once again, just some other form of change.

in 2026, i’m trying to delve even deeper into authenticity. if i’m being real, i’m tired of trying to sell myself. i don’t want to upkeep a personal brand. i’m just some person, living my life on this planet, and i love making art. and keeping up with all the different skills i’m building on can be really exhausting and hard. but it’s endlessly rewarding, too, and i love the connections i get to make and the way doing what i love can sustain my life. sometimes, i debate quitting the arts and pursuing a corporate job or something. something that would make me 100k a year. but that wouldn’t be living my truth or honoring everything my past self has been working towards.

so in an effort to keep pushing forward while using the past as inspiration, i wanted to highlight some tattoos from this year!

i got to do some dream projects, coverups, reworks, customs for lovely folks, tiny filler pieces, text pieces, & lots of flash. huge thank you to everyone who trusted me with your ideas & bodies in 2025. i appreciate everyone’s support!

as a little new year’s treat, i am offering 10% off your first month on my patreon. just use code HNY2026 to redeem. this is perfect if you’re not looking for tattoos but just want to support my practice & get some stickers in the mail every month!

if you’re a lil unsure about the patreon, i made a public post so you can see what you’re getting into. here is a taste! this post is diving deeper into some work i made in college, and is very personal. most of my other posts focus on current projects and aren’t so deep… but there’s a backlog of hundreds of posts on there to peruse. if you know someone who might be interested, you can also gift them a membership. :-)

as i try to move away from instagram for surveillance and general energy-sucking reasons, i’m going to be more present on substack & patreon. i really wanna connect with people who want to see my work and support me, and continue to provide fresh experiences and art for you all. i think stepping away from IG a bit is going to benefit me in the long run.

that’s it from me today! hope everyone has a lovely january & beyond. and if you’re looking for tattoos, book here!
