before jumping into the newsletter, i want to encourage everyone to participate in the general strike tomorrow, jan 30th! no school, no shopping, no work. get out to a local demonstration if you can to show your support for the cause and tell ICE to get the fuck out of our communities. if you need a sign, gather some friends and join the sign-making events in your area!
it can be hard when you feel powerless, but i promise you are not. do anything you can do help! there are a plethora of ways to support, like donating directly to the cause.
my offering at this time is to offer a 50% match in tattoo credit if you donate to stand with minnesota. so for example, if you donate $100, i’ll take $50 off your session with me. no matter how much you donate, if you email me your donation receipt i’ll grant you free access to my patreon for a year.
it’s the last few days to sign up for my january sticker club… because of aforementioned strike tomorrow, i’d recommend signing up either today or the 31st! and i believe it’s cheaper to sign up directly on the website than through the app on iphones (because apple sucks ass) so do it from a web browser if possible.
i’m very excited about this sheet and would love to share it with you, too! it’s inspired by the holidays, feasting with friends, & making the most of winter. my personal favorite winter time activity is being wrapped in my heated blanket, preferably eating sweet potatoes & having a hot tea. i encourage you to find some time to do this soon! unless you’re allergic to sweet potatoes then please don’t, just find another snack—

i got to make this tattoo for my friend lucas yesterday and he is so brave and strong for this one… inspired by the classic transsexual tattoo on my sibling lio!

thank you all for all of your trust making your ideas come to life! i am so grateful every day that this is my job. i have nowhere else to put this rant, but i’m so afraid of AI taking over art jobs and infiltrating tattooing… i wanted to make it beyond clear that i am against the use of AI for anything, but especially making art. everything i make is drawn by me. and that’s important to me, and should be important to you, too. art makes us human, and i’m so glad to be able to share art with you all, despite everything.
