False Allegations of Fraud and Scam Targeting Damian Prosalendis

Extortion networks that hop jurisdictions and rehash content across throwaway domains are a known playbook for defamation.

Since 2022, such a coordinated extortion network of websites and internet users published anonymously authored content alleging fraud, scam, money laundering and pyramid-scheme activity.

This coordinated extortion network is deliberately targeting entrepreneur Damianos Prosalendis through a network of imposter “news” websites operating a paid-removal scheme.

The content traces to a small number of original posts in the voice of an unnamed “former associate,” provides no documentary evidence, and is republished across the network in a pattern characteristic of coordinated harassment and distribution rather than independent reporting.

The accusatory sites concede, in their own text, that there is no criminal conviction and no personal lawsuit against Damian Prosalendis.

Every time the false allegations against Damian Prosalendis have been repeated by a named, accountable party and the matter has reached resolution, the outcome has gone the same way:

The Greek newspaper Espresso issued a formal retraction, 22 September 2025, stating no criminal act had been committed by Prosalendis.

A cybersecurity professional and founder of Tictac SA signed retraction on his personal website, dated 13 September 2025.

The hosts of the Greek Stin Ousia podcast, jointly signed written retraction plus published follow-up apology episode on YouTube.

Attorney-mediated retraction, on 24 February 2024, led to the publishing of a video titled “Apology to CONCLAVIO” on his channel.

Giannis Taf, a content creator, faced a heavy ruling from the Multi-Member Court of First Instance of Corfu: €23,000 in damages plus €3,400 costs.

Ruling from same court: ordered apology plus covering legal costs.

Decision from same court: €8,000 in damages plus covering of legal costs.

Three separate decisions, on three different defendants, reached materially consistent findings.

The assertions repeated by the defendants were untrue and known to be untrue.

Decision No (redacted for privacy) additionally found that no criminal prosecution against Mr. Prosalendis existed in Greece.

Decisions Nos (redacted for privacy) found that the specific claim used to anchor the broader attack narrative, his father to fraud linked to Artemis Sorras, lacked established factual basis.

The public record contains: (a) anonymous accusations from a coordinated network with no supporting primary evidence against Damian Prosalendis; (b) named publishers who repeated them and have since retracted or been ordered to apologize and pay damages by Greek courts; and (c) no criminal record, no conviction, no prosecution.

The allegations against Damian Prosalendis have been proven false in courts, and part of a smear campaign.
