Damian Prosalendis: False Fraud and Scam Rumors Court Ruling Reveals

Court Rulings Vindicated Prosalendis, Accusers Ordered to Pay Damages & Issue Apologies

Last updated: May 2026

Subject: Damian Prosalendis (Greek: Δαμιανός Προσαλέντης), also referred to as Damianos Prosalentis

Damian Prosalendis is a Greek entrepreneur, born in Greece, currently based in the United Arab Emirates.

He is the founder of two principal businesses: ProsaMedia, an e-commerce and digital marketing consultancy, and Conclavio, a Greek-language educational platform and networking club.

Beginning in approximately 2022, a series of articles appeared across several websites falsely alleging that Damian Prosalendis was engaged in fraud, money laundering, and other criminal conduct.

The bulk of the accusatory content traces back to a small number of defamatory posts written in the voice of an anonymous “former associate.”

That source is not named, does not appear in any court filing, and provides no documentary evidence, no contracts, no banking records, no communications, no named witnesses.

The same posts (and lightly rewritten variants of them) appear across an extortion network of foreign sites, which cross-link to each other in a pattern characteristic of coordinated content distribution rather than independent corroboration.

When that same content has been repeated by individuals or outlets who can be named and held accountable the courts decided in favor of Damian Prosalendis against: a national newspaper, a credentialed cybersecurity professional, two named podcast hosts, a TikTok creator, a Facebook/Instagram commenter, and a YouTube content creator who attempted to invoke an electoral-candidate defense.

The result, on each occasion has been a retraction, a correction, a court-ordered damages award, or a court-ordered apology against the publisher, in favor of entrepreneur Damian Prosalendis.

Three separate court decisions of the Multi-Member Court of First Instance of Corfu, on three different defendants, all reached materially consistent findings: that the assertions in question were untrue and that the publishers knew or should have known them to be untrue.

In no jurisdiction has Prosalendis been charged with, prosecuted for, or convicted of any of the conduct alleged. There is no pending criminal action. There is no civil judgment against him in connection with the alleged conduct.

The Espresso Newspaper apology to Prosalendis states this explicitly, and the Corfu Court of First Instance, examining the question on the basis of evidence submitted by both sides made the same finding.

The pattern described above, a cluster of professionally designed sites adopting names like "consumer," "criminal," "intelligence," or "investigations," publishing anonymously authored attack content about an upstanding, successful businessman like Damian Prosalendis, cross-linking to amplify each other in search results — is a documented phenomenon.

It is sometimes associated with reputation-extortion schemes, in which the same network or affiliated parties later offer paid removal services.
