Priscilla Woolworth · Priscilla’s Newsletter

Dear friends,

I often wish that many of the stories I share in this newsletter were considered worthy of front-page news. More importantly, I wish we gave greater attention to the solutions, ideas, and everyday actions that can help lessen the looming effects of climate change. I would rather learn what I can do as a citizen of the world to make a meaningful difference than be endlessly confronted by headlines of human-made tragedies. My heart aches for all those who have lost loved ones, but also for the animals, trees and beautiful lands destroyed by war.

I would like to read about communities helping one another, about people restoring land, protecting water, and creating healthier ways to live. No matter where we live on this planet, we all long for the same essentials: clean air, fresh water, nourishing food, and peace.

In this issue, you’ll learn why it’s important to be mindful about the grapes you buy; what people affected by flooding and drought can do to help mitigate their destructive effects; why my book LOLA’s message is timeless, as it marks its 11th year; the unusual natural treasure I found years ago while walking in a desert in the southwestern US, and a film to watch about our most precious pollinators.

Onwards!
