A Casper Facebook Post About a 14 Year Old Child, Past Catching Up, and Answers That Kept Changing

Their accounts are presented as what they told this publication. Dustin Ammerman has not been charged with any crime in connection with anything described here, and he denies the allegations. His full responses are included. Where an account rests on a single source, that is stated.

On the afternoon of August 17, a woman posted in the Casper Rants And Raves Facebook group under the heading “Captain add a minor.” She wrote that a man she assumed to be in his twenties had repeatedly tried to contact a 14-year-old girl, and that the girl had deleted his friend requests while he kept sending them. The post included a screenshot of a pending friend request from an account belonging to Dustin Ammerman.

The post did not accuse him of a crime. It asked him to stop.

Within a day, four women who say they do not associate with one another contacted this publication with older accounts involving the same man. Their accounts are separate and cover a span of roughly three to six years. What follows is what they said, what Ammerman said when he was asked about it, and where the two do not line up.

A former coworker.
A woman who worked at the Casper Chili’s in 2023 said she was 22 at the time and Ammerman was 23. She said that while the two were talking, she learned he had been involved with a 16-year-old girl who also worked at the restaurant. She said the age gap concerned her. She described him as rude, immature, and an alcoholic who pursued much younger girls because women his own age did not like him. She asked to remain anonymous and gave permission for her statement to be used.

This is a secondhand account. She did not witness a sexual encounter; she said she learned of one.

A woman who spent an evening with him.
A second woman, who says she was in her mid-twenties at the time, gave a longer and more physical account. She said the two went for a drink at the restaurant where he worked. A much younger female employee sat crying at the host stand and watching them, which made her uneasy. They left, bought beer, and went back to his apartment. She says his phone began going off repeatedly — texts, Messenger notifications, then calls from a number with no name attached — and that he refused to answer in front of her.

She says the younger employee then came to the door and began banging on it, yelling that he had taken her virginity, that she thought they had a relationship, and that she could not believe he had gone home with someone else. One version of the account places the sexual encounter on the girl’s 16th birthday.

Ammerman went downstairs. On the way down he grabbed the adult woman’s keys. He opened the door for the younger girl. The adult woman followed and punched him in the face because he had taken her keys and would not give them back. He slammed the door on the younger girl, then turned and ran back upstairs still holding the keys. He threw himself across the bed with his arm over his face to block further punches but refusing to return the keys and allow her to leave. She struck him as hard as she could in the rib. The blow made an audible crunch. He released the keys. She took them and left. She never spoke to him again.

She described him as roughly six feet tall and about 120 pounds. She also said that at a later point she saw messages on his Facebook page to another young restaurant employee, roughly 15, in which he told the girl she was “so mature” and that he forgot she was only fifteen because she was “already such a fucking woman.” This publication has not seen those messages.

A woman who tended bar.
A third woman said that roughly three years ago a female friend was heavily intoxicated and slumped over a table asleep. When she came back from grabbing beer, both the woman and Ammerman were gone. She said she immediately called them both, and that the woman told her she was leaving to have sex with him. The bartender was blunt: any man who would take a woman home in that condition is, in her view, a pervert. She said she has known Ammerman since he was 20 or 21 and described him as having a dark, gloomy quality.

She did not witness what happened after they left. The woman who left with him has not been contacted and is not identified here.

A former partner.
A woman who says she was with him for about six years, and who is the mother of his child, provided a written statement describing years of what she called sexual and emotional abuse, ongoing harassment after the relationship ended, and a pattern of dating women primarily for a place to stay. She said he door-dashed only when he needed money and that she had heard the Chili’s accounts secondhand.

Ammerman was reached by Facebook message on the morning of August 18 and answered questions for roughly two hours. He denied every allegation involving anyone underage. He said he had never put his hands on a woman and that his daughter, born when he was 17, changed his life.

He also denied being the man in the original post. Early in the exchange he wrote that this reporter had the wrong person, and he said the family of the woman he is seeing had told him the post was about a man named Eddie.

On several points his answers moved.

On whether he was in a relationship during the Chili’s period.
He first said he had a girlfriend the entire time he worked there (implying either than she worked there as well or that she was well known to other employees there), and that this was why he could not have been involved with anyone else. Asked for her name so the claim could be checked, he declined, calling it his business and later saying it was not right to name-drop someone. He then said he and that girlfriend had split for a month or two, during which he saw someone else. Later still, asked which woman at Chili’s held the title, he said he had not been with anyone at Chili’s and that his girlfriend worked elsewhere.

On the virginity claim.
Asked about it directly, he wrote that he did not recall taking anyone’s virginity and did not know where that came from, followed by a laughing emoji. Later in the same conversation he wrote that he had apologized to her after they split, that he did not know whether he took her virginity or not, and that she was 18 or 19. When asked what he apologized for he declined to answer.

On how the younger woman knew where he lived.
He described her as someone who should not have known where he lived and who showed up unannounced, and said she had somehow known his number and address “at random.” Elsewhere in the same exchange he said he had worked at Chili’s with her and that was how she knew him.

On the keys and the rib.
His denial is absolute: “I didn’t once ever have her keys. As a matter of fuck she had her knife and waived it at me and said just so you know and I’m like woah I’m not like that what the hell.” He did not say when the knife appeared, what prompted it, or how it fits the rest of the sequence. Asked whether he had called police about it, he said he does not usually call police. He later said that she had shown him the knife just for fun because it was cool, and claimed that this reporter cannot keep his story straight.

He confirmed the injury itself. He said he is thin and that he caught a straight punch to his left bottom rib while walking up the stairs. That confirms the confrontation and the injury while disputing the reason for it. He gave no account of what the fight was over.

When the specific details of the incident were described to him — a woman at his house, a minor girl at the door upset about virginity and cheating, and a rib broken while trying to leave — Ammerman identified the woman and blocked her on Facebook without being told her name.

The woman later rejected the knife claim completely. She said she never waved a knife and did not need one. She stated she punched him in the face at the door because he had taken her keys and would not return them, chased him upstairs, and broke his rib when he tried to shield himself on the bed but refusing to return her property so that she could escape. She added that if she had been carrying a knife that night, she should have used it.

He said repeatedly that he had nothing to delete, that he was not lying, and that he did not understand why he was being asked to explain himself. He declined to provide even basic details at most times and seemed to return a random narrative of his innocence and of being framed. For example, he was asked simply about his height — he changed the subject and then outright refused to answer. He said he considered contacting the police to report being harassed.

No police report has been identified. No charge has been filed. Employment records confirming who worked at the restaurant, and when, have not been obtained. The messages described to a younger employee have not been produced. The 2023 account of a relationship with a 16-year-old is secondhand from a single source, and the woman it concerns has not been contacted and will not be identified here.

What is documented is narrower and it is this: a public post asking a man to stop contacting a 14-year-old; four women who say they do not know each other describing a pattern of conduct toward much younger women; a two-hour exchange in which the subject confirmed a physical altercation at his apartment, gave multiple versions of his relationship status during the relevant period, moved from denying any knowledge of a virginity claim to saying he did not know and that she was of age, and declined to provide the one name he said would settle it; and the fact that when the incident was described to him in detail, he was able to identify the woman involved and block her without being given her name.
