She takes heat personally and is livid re: the world is going electric when the grid collapses every summer due to heat. She and Ethel are sure it has to do with Gates and his co-founding and investment in Terra Power, which is building an advanced nuclear power plant in Kemmerer, Wyoming.

From Scientific American…… “The $4 billion project, known as the Natrium plant, is a 345-megawatt sodium-cooled fast reactor paired with a molten salt energy storage system. Unlike traditional light-water reactors, it operates at lower, non-pressurized temperatures and uses liquid sodium instead of water. This design can boost output to 500 megawatts, generating enough clean energy to power about 400,000 homes. The facility received a commercial construction permit from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and is scheduled for completion around 2030 or 2031…”

What they’re not mentioning is that molten salt energy storage systems are highly flammable, leading the kitchen table caucus to wonder once again, what is it with men and their addiction to nuclear power?

Nuclear is not clean, electric isn’t clean either but you can’t see it, like you can see the exhaust from a gas guzzling car. Electricity, the creation of, secretes vast amounts of mercury. Guess what causes Alzheimer’s? Mercury. But you can’t see or smell mercury, so the powers that be are simply playing out of sight out of mind and – Mercury be damned! - this is better for the environment. As for electric cars – we here at the kitchen table caucus think we’re doing little more than switching seats on the Titanic. The country doesn’t have the needed electric for the people, cars, or data centers, cropping up daily on our astoundingly beauteous and living earth, like cancer tumors. The world has the ability to create all the energy we need from air, sun, earth and water…..The money boys don’t want that in much the same way they didn’t want Mamdani to win, but Mandami did win even though big money threw, pots and pots of money behind the sex offender Cuomo.

We’re all in our 70’s; we have watched money buy elections over and over. Mamdani’s win was the first time any of us experienced money ‘s inability to buy an election. We love Mamdani….
