Kickstarter Debuts $1M Artist Project Fund; Myspace Bets on a Comeback; AI Music’s Napster Moment

Through the fund, Kickstarter will provide direct financial contributions to live campaigns from independent creators using its platform. The goal is to help artists build momentum during the critical period in which they’re working to build support. Creators working within the fund’s four core categories can apply for the fund when their Kickstarter campaign is live or when they have a project page in draft.
