The APP Tour will double its professional prize money from $1.5 million in 2026 to $3 million in 2027 — a 100% single-year increase announced August 3, 2026 by founder Ken Herrmann.
Nearly 70 male and female professionals have signed with APP since the start of 2026, giving the $3 million prize pool a full competitive field behind it.
The 2027 schedule grows from 10 to 12 U.S. events, with all four days of every tournament livestreamed — an upgrade from the current format.
APP pros now have access to more than 50 events annually worldwide through the APP Tour, APP Asia Tour, and Global Pickleball Alliance combined.
Doubling the prize pool raises the financial case for pros to stay on the tour — which means a more committed, deeper field for fans at every event.
