I’m posting a new format this time, a chat between myself and ChatGPT.
Topics/identities that will likely make an appearance are pragmatism, disability, deafness, buddhism, critical rationalism, post-christianity, post-colonialism, intelligence, machine learning, speech recognition, and others I'm sure.

I saw the new (2024) Wicked film adaptation and, wow what a film.

A little while ago, my wife invented (as far as I can tell) the term “bodyqueer” and as soon as I heard it I really loved it.

An article that deeply resonated with me when I first read it a few years ago was “The Empty Brain” by Richard Epstein, for the way it insightfully broke down ways in which our everyday language equates the brain with a computer and ways in which that metaphor can be quite inaccurate.

Scott Alexander recently wrote this post, which seems to misunderstand the “Social Model” of disability in a way that is very familiar to me and frustrating:

I assume you are here because I wrote something (in the future) that interested you enough to want to read more, and you ended up on the first post.

This is Audible Pragmatism.
