Greetings from the mobility scooter district of the great south-east of Queensland, adjacent to the South Pacific ocean and nestled amongst the fragrant frangipanis which shade so many jetskis permanently moored on neighbouring front lawns.
I wanted to let you know that on February 15th, Story Club returns for the first time in 2026 with an evening of toe-curlingly true tales full of unexpected twists, mortifying confessions, gripping first-hand accounts of adventure, and a not-insignificant amount of dick jokes.
It’s a day after Valentine’s Day, so if you’re anything like me, this will probably count as your ‘special night out’, which will be followed by a ‘special conversation’ with your partner about how your ‘special brain’ might be good at some things but is quite shit when it comes to being a good partner.
So it’s no surprise we’ve gone with the appropriate theme - “So Romantic”
