A lot happened in January and February. Here’s what I’ve been up to.
In January I was invited to the Human Rights Foundation’s AI Hack for Freedom hackathon in Austin, Texas. We built and shipped Corruption Disrespector in 28 hours and took home 3rd place.
I teamed up with Anna Chekhovich, financial director of Alexei Navalny’s Anti-Corruption Foundation, along with two developers, Ethan and Axel, who come from data science and engineering backgrounds.ACF investigators regularly deal with massive data dumps, thousands of documents spanning financial records, court filings, and multiple languages. There was no good way to analyze it all quickly.
We built Corruption Disrespector. A tool that analyzes a data dump, extracts relevant people, companies, addresses, and accounts, and cross-references findings against the ACF’s existing research.

On Tuesday we officially launched Numo. It’s an Android point-of-sale app that gives merchants a tap-to-pay experience close to Apple Pay, built on Cashu ecash.
The build is led by a1denvalu3, with contributions from developers across the Cashu ecosystem. I contributed to UI decisions and was responsible for the brand and website.
What makes Numo special is the combination of novel mechanisms across Android and iOS that together create a payments UX that feels genuinely native. In the demo below you can see it in action: I pay a Bitcoin invoice by tapping a button on my iPhone and holding it against the POS. That’s it.
Designing Numo was a wild ride in the most literal sense. I was traveling constantly while shipping different parts of the design. The initial landing page was designed 30,000 feet over the Black Sea, theme settings designed on a Shinkansen bullet train, auto-withdraw in Texas and Miami between conference sessions.
Earlier this month, friend and Cashu collaborator callebtc launched Clawi.
If you somehow missed the OpenClaw mania that gripped the vibe coding world, here’s the short version. OpenClaw is an open-source personal AI assistant with persistent memory. What I find most fascinating are the concepts of soul.md, identity.md, and heartbeat.md, these files determine the behavior and characteristics of your agent and are fully editable.
I designed the Clawi landing page and have been working on some marketing and brand assets. I haven’t had much time to invest in this project but I’ve had fun with what I’ve managed to ship so far.
A quick vibe code Cashu Swift exploration. There’s one UX friction point I want gone: having to choose between ecash and lightning at the moment of sending or receiving.
I’m experimenting with a mode selector in the top right corner. Set it once upfront, and the wallet handles the rest. Still early but it feels like the right direction.

I designed and deployed a website making the case that ecash is the best payment rail for 402 micropayments in the age of agentic commerce. Cease and desist probably incoming.
