Linda Douw is an Associate Professor at the Department of Anatomy and Neurosciences at Amsterdam UMC, where she leads the Multiscale Network Neuroscience (MULTINET) research section.
A neuroscientist focused on brain tumors, she specializes in using network theory to integrate multiscale data—from cellular and molecular features to macroscale brain structure and function via MRI, MEG, and EEG—to improve outcomes for glioma patients.
Her work tackles the complexity of gliomas by modeling disease progression from micro to macro scales, predicting postoperative cognitive decline, and developing personalized interventions through interdisciplinary collaborations with neurosurgery, neurology, and oncology.
