The Coolest Girls you Know Aren't Wearing Pucci This Summer.

Don’t panic, there is nothing wrong with Pucci. Classics shall be classics. However, when there are so many brain ticklingly cool brands out there right now, why would you want a purely Pucci summer? As soon as the sun comes out I suddenly want to experiment with new textures, colours and accessories. One touch of heat and I’m wearing Zebra on my wrists, leopard on my hips and colour around my neck - however always in a way that feels like me.

I wanted to put together an edit of brands I want to wear pieces from right now, that feel easy yet chic and don’t break the bank. (Yes very minor The Row in this one, your wallet will be grateful) I’m talking brands like Posse, Dissh and Matteau that need to be on your radar, oh and if you prefer video form watch this. So without further ado, these are some of the coolest brands to have on your radar this summer, and how to style them:

A Doen summer, but make it feel like you. The Henri top is a staple, pair back with more structured and minimal pieces.

Posse is one of my favourite brands right now for summer, easy chic and elevated staples. New Yorkers they have a store on Bleecker!

When a Khaite x NAP exclusive met the most worn/spoken about pants right now.

The Cecily is back for summer, this time in the most perfect pink. These trousers are my most recent purchase, they are perfect.

More Doen but make it Olsenified.

Am I a Celine girl now? The new collection is tickling me, particularly the jewellery.

Talking of jewellery, Aflalo does the most exciting pieces right now. Designed by Leandra and I would like everything. The lace pants can come too. Oh and these sandals are sub $200 and completely great.

Australia’s finest. Dissh is the brand to know right now, their lace pieces are my favourite.

Another brand you must know about immediately is a new eyewear brand called ‘Side Eye’ - think if CBK and Khaite did a sunglasses line together.

We all know cool girl brand Rohe for their Mandarin inspired jackets, now please find the dress version.

Note to self, don’t just wear plain Row flip flops, when so many brands do such interesting and fun sandals.

When I tell you everyone in NYC was wearing white Doen dresses, they just look so good on everyone.

Buy of the week: Doen Lavona Pant

Is it just me or does wearing Doen in summer make me feel like the woman I aspire to be, it’s a feeling that is hard to describe. Just like Ilana Torbiner said in a recent piece, nothing makes you feel more instanntly together than a white outfit and these trousers are this summed up. These trousers are this year’s version of the silk lace trim shorts and I have a feeling they will sell out just as quick. Take your usual size, throw on a white t shirt and black flip flops and you’ll be good to go.
