I love our space. I've come to realise I really am a diehard homebody and nothing brings me more joy than creating a well-loved, well-used space and being in my own cocoon of comfort.
A room that feels ‘complete’, in my eyes, is ever-evolving. There is no such thing as ‘done’ or ‘finished’- it feels just right for that time, until your next urge to redecorate, renovate or just give things a refresh, whenever that may be. The path of building a home or renovating, while fun, exciting and fulfilling, can also be somewhat winding and treacherous. I’ve been there many times, and after completing 5 homes with my builder husband (yes, we're still married after it all haha), I’ve got quite good at riding the rollercoaster of decision-making.
I’ve poured so much time, love, thought and feeling into every decision when it comes to finishes, furnishings, fixtures, colours and the rest, so here is a little respite for those with a million tabs open looking for the perfect white to paint their bedroom, exterior cladding details or, in this case, zebra cushion.
