Recently we’ve had a number of patients ask why Vagaro lists the price as “Free” when booking a Follow-Up Appointment (see image below). This is just an annoying quirk of the Vagaro software, and does not reflect what you owe for the treatment.
You are not paying for the appointment at the time of booking. You still need to pay within our $20-$40 sliding scale in the clinic. You can pay for a single visit or packages of 5 or 10 via Cash, Check, or QR code.
It DOES NOT mean you still have appointments left on your pre-paid “easy” card. We track this in another system and will let you know in person and via email when you have run out of treatments. Pre-paid treatments are not linked to Vagaro in any way.
It DOES NOT mean the appointment is on us. We are a low cost clinic……but we can’t keep our rates that low :)
If you’re not sure what to get a finicky friend or family member for a special occasion, give the gift of health, ease, and wellbeing. Gift certificates of any amount are available for purchase. Gift Certificates can be purchased in person or by filling out our Easy Online Form.
Patients often ask us for guidance on what to pay in our sliding scale, and we get it, a sliding scale isn’t something most of us come across in our daily life. Our answer though is pretty simple, you decide what you can afford and pay that! We don’t have income guidelines or ask for any income verification. We want our patients to pay based on what they feel is affordable for them, and totally understand that this may change over time. The purpose of the sliding scale is to make sure you can get enough acupuncture to get good results. We want you to feel better and then tell everybody you know that acupuncture works!
