Constant Flux Carried Me Further

Releasing something tangible has always been deeply rewarding for me.

I still remember how it felt when I published my first photobook in 2023. Messages started coming in after its released, from friends, from strangers, from people I had never met before. What stayed with me wasn’t just the support itself, but the conversations that followed. Hearing how others interpreted my photobook, how they connected it to their own experiences, and how something personal could resonate beyond myself.

The more I think about it, the more I realize how much making tangible things, like photobooks, matters to me. There’s something really meaningful about connecting, sharing, and having conversations beyond a screen. Not only as a photographer, but simply as a human. I believe photographs and stories feel different when they exist in physical form. They create a connection in a way digital spaces can’t do.

About two and a half years later, I published my second photobook.

This time, I treated the book as a personal diary. A place to record how I’ve grown, not just as a photographer, but as a person. How my perspective has shifted. How the way I see and approach things continues to change.

While working on this book, I kept asking myself questions. How have I changed since the first one? What could be better?

All of these reflections eventually led me to a simple desire: I wanted to connect with more people. Especially people I haven’t met yet. To create connections beyond the screen, through the book itself.

So while I was busy preparing the production, joining zine festivals, and figuring out the practical side of things, I also started looking outward. Reading, researching, reaching out. Not with a fixed destination in mind, but with the hope that Constant Flux could continue moving and flowing, finding its way into new places, new hands.

Somewhere along the way, the book began to surface in places I never expected it to reach.

And that’s the small (but honestly, huge) milestone I wanted to share here.

Constant Flux is now available in parts of Southeast Asia! Through a few beautiful independent spaces in 🇮🇩 Indonesia (Soon at Panna Lab), 🇹🇭 Thailand (at Spacebar Zine) and 🇲🇾 Malaysia (at Zontiga), and with ongoing conversations with stores in 🇸🇬 Singapore. If you happen to be around, please say hi to them. And maybe, through them, you’ll find your own way to Constant Flux.

I’m glad that I can found a place that is so supportive to a small and growing photographer like me. This becomes a trigger for me to keep moving, to keep believing the process, and to keep making tangible things.
