One of the most infuriating things is KNOWING you are capable of doing something, but just never quite getting to it. It seems hard to put your finger on it but when you look back you put it down to a combination of poor time management, ACTUALLY being time poor, lacking motivation and feeling like you were playing catch up. So you think UGHHH I will try again this week. You have all the ideas of what you want to do (e.g get through that god forsaken to-do list that has been looming), exercise somewhat consistently, work towards your hobby or business or writing, feel like you had quality time with people you love AND feel rested. How hard is THAT?
Quite hard, it seems because we find ourselves in this predicament every Sunday. (One of the reasons you get the Sunday scaries, and yes I have an article on that coming up later this week).
There one simple reason you are not pushing forward with your goals.
I can sum it up in two words.
Mental conflict.
That indecisiveness that cock blocks you from moving forward.
It’s simple, but is it easy? You decide. Eliminating mental conflict still requires self control and follow through. But let me plead my case on why eliminating mental conflict and indecisiveness is the answer to many of these problems. Removing that one battle in your head could be the final piece of the puzzle as to why you haven’t been able to get things done in the past. When we remove this mental conflict we gain clarity. And having clarity makes overcoming laziness so much easier.
