Lesson of the week:
Silence makes people share more. Silence creates a void, or a sense of discomfort, and some treat that empty space like a threat. In this ‘gap’ they have a strong need to keep talking, which makes them overshare or disclose private information they were not initially wanting to share. Use this to your benefit when you are having a disagreement with someone you think is lying. Allow them to talk as much as they need and they will often dig themselves into a hole.
Hot tip of the week:
Give all your tasks this week a deadline. Parkinson’s law - Work expands to fill the time available for completion.
Having a fair deadline makes you get it done as fast as possible with less distractions.Word of the week:
Capricious - Determined by chance or impulse rather than by necessity.
E.g. ‘I can’t take my sister out with me today because her moods are too capricious and will kill the vibe’.The thing I cant stop thinking about:
A person with good character and integrity never needs to convince someone they are good. They are just good and have nothing to prove.
Recommendation:
@Frysquared - Maths Professor and science writer who does the BEST videos on instagram. She will make you feel smarter in just minutes.
Question to carry into the week:
If you kept your current habits. In 2 years would you life be better? Or worse?
Hotel Mindset:
Affirmation - I am ready to release the old and welcome in the new
Happy Sunday! Hope you enjoyed
