Litho Supply building converts space for movement and community
by Gail Guengerich
Reasons not to go to a dance class: Your small child is perpetually stuck to you like a barnacle. A teen dream is arabesque-ing at your three o’clock. You’d sooner wear a sweater in hell than sport a tight bun and leotard. You feel too old, busy, inexperienced, depressed.
These are just the kinds of barriers Amanda Geilenfeldt hopes to gently blow up at MAES, the community dance studio she opened in April, just south of Indian School on Girard.
