Jordan Peterson:

Narcissists/psychopaths are taking over the “fringe” Right.

Apparently Peterson and Joe Rogan have issues with the “fringe” narcissists/sociopaths who are undermining the sociopathic/narcissist who they support:

Trump.

Let’s unpack….

One of things that is so mind-numbing about Peterson is his lack of self, and situational, awareness…..

.....which manifests in his inability to apply his analysis to himself (his projection of his own experiences/feelings onto Trump)….

….as well as Peterson's inability to apply his analysis of Cluster B personality disorders to Trump.

There's an association between these two blind spots because for Peterson to admit the uncomfortable truth about Trump…

...would require Peterson to admit uncomfortable truths about himself (professionally/morally/ethically), as explained here:

Let’s unpack Peterson’s Cluster B monologue:

If you look back throughout history, populist uprisings are often led by narcissists/sociopaths….

....who manipulate the people, exploit populist anger to legally acquire power (elections)….

....and then attack the press, the universities/intellectuals, the courts…..

.....which then allows them to illegally/unconstitutionally consolidate power, and transform their country into an authoritarian/dictatorship.

….a 2024 study found that psychopathic traits are associated with the endorsement of populist attitudes.

This should come as no surprise because a very strong argument can be made that MAGA/America First movement is driven by collective/national narcissism that has been harnessed by a sociopathic narcissist:

…..Trump.

I’ve analogously analyzed these collectively narcissistic behaviors through the lens of “death by a thousand paper cuts".

And as I’ve analyzed many times, pathology attracts pathology:

But for those who don’t possess Cluster B personality disorder (psychopathic) traits....

.....this is where Peterson’s observation about wolves in sheep’s clothing comes in:

Let’s apply Peterson’s analysis of psychopathic wolves in sheep’s clothing to Trump:

Who was Trump for most of his life?

He was a gold toilet owning….self-dealing narcissist who hung out with child sex traffickers….

….who couldn’t name a bible verse….

….and is the “modern version of the Pharisees…....who uses God's name in vain as he proclaims moral virtue”….

…..and who donated to Democratic political campaigns.

Donald Trump was once a registered Democrat and party donor. So why did he jump ship?The former Republican president was once a registered Democrat and even donated money to Kamala Harris.

Trump…...the guy whose narcissism and reckless disregard for others (sociopathy) compelled him to brag about having the tallest building in New York just hours after the attack by Saudis leveled the towers….

...."is waving your flags”.

Trump…..the guy who was a registered Democrat……and donated to both Hillary’s and Kamala’s political campaigns…..

….uses “language to manipulate”…....to demagogue and exploit populist anger and resentment…

.....so he can “invade the idea space, and use those ideas as false weapons to advance [his] narcissistic advantage”

Let's repeat what Jordan Peterson said once more:

.....so Trump can “invade the idea space, and use those ideas as false weapons to advance [his] narcissistic advantage”....

“….[Trump is] narcissistic, [Trump] wants unearned reputation…..that's what a narcissist wants…..and they're psychopathic….which makes them predators or parasites.”

The problem is that Peterson….the world’s most famous psychologist…

.....is either too ignorant, too emotionally/psychologically wounded and compromised…..

....and/or too dishonest to realize that this “new theory of political psychopathology” that he is so proud of himself for “inventing”…..

.....applies to and explains what is threatening to destroy this country:

As analyzed in this article Peterson is either too ignorant…..too emotionally/psychologically wounded and compromised…..

...and/or too dishonest to realize that “Trump Derangement Syndrome” is the rejection of Trump’s narcissism/sociopathy.:

Another aspect of Peterson’s obliviousness is his understanding and application of Tyranny.

Here Peterson distinguishes true leadership (free will of the people) from Tyranny (fear and force):

Let’s think about what Peterson is stating.

The context is that he’s talking about the Left (with Covid/vaccines, and presumably, climate change…as a backdrop).

But as is often the case with Peterson, his anger/hatred toward the Left creates blind spots and an inability to realize…and/or an unwillingness to accept….that his criticisms of the Left are at least as valid with Trump/MAGA.

For example:
Peterson points out how "there is always an apocalypse looming…and that tyrants use fear to get people to fall in line".

However, no demographic has (literally) exploited the “apocalypse” fear more than the Christian Right….Trump, etc.

I exposed this tactic in this article analyzing how a decade of being conditioned to abandon Christian values in order to support Trump, has made some Christians susceptible to being manipulated to embrace antisemitism.

Furthermore, Peterson states:

“The true leaders say: ‘Here's an offer. Would you accept this of your own free will?....while tyrants say: ‘The apocalypse is coming, and we are allowed to do everything to forestall it, including control you and everything that you do’”.

This is interesting because a group that Peterson has ties to recently released a video about Americans having common beliefs/values as evidenced by the fact that there is an 80+%, and in many cases, a 90+% agreement on 19 important issues.

And as I point out in this article....

....with 14 of the 19 issues….Trump/MAGA/Republicans not only fail to make an “offer” to appease the “people”….

....but they tyrannically subvert the will of the people by actively undermining/opposing these issues that Americans overwhelmingly agree.

Even the El Salvador prison deportations are evidence of this: Not only is Trump not “asking” the country “will you accept this”….

...but he’s defying court orders that explicitly tell him that deporting people without due process is constitutionally “Unacceptable”.

Yet, Trump and his administration not only continue to engage in this action….but they hint at, and explicitly threaten to defy court orders…..

….but Trump threatens to send Americans to El Salvador…..

….and now Libya.

This is Tyranny, but Jordan Peterson is so psychologically damaged and locked into his narrative that he won’t/can’t see or admit this.

Jordan Peterson: “...[psychopaths use fear to convince people]…there’s always an apocalypse looming…..If you turn to fear as your means of governance then you’re a tyrant.”

When Trump was being investigated/impeached/held accountable for his corruption/criminality/traitorous conduct…..he claimed it was “the worst thing that ever happened to our country”….and that it would turn the United States into a Third World Country.

Jordan Peterson: “...[psychopaths use fear to convince people]…there’s always an apocalypse looming…..If you turn to fear as your means of governance then you’re a tyrant.”

In 2020, Trump apocalyptically claimed the stock market would crash if he didn’t win:

Trump repeatedly, and apocalyptically said that if he didn’t win the country would cease to exist.

Trump: He who saves the country breaks no laws.
