Analyzing the source of "Assassination Culture"

Obligatory qualifier: Celebrating assassination culture is a symptom of a morally bankrupt, pathological society.

But....at best, this video is tone deaf to the primary source of the current pathology.....

And, at worst....it’s a deliberate attempt to gaslight.

Let’s unpack.....

“Assassination culture” is fueled by:

1) The erosion of institutional trust.

...and...

2) Pathological populism.

No one has fed the populist uprising.....eroded more institutional trust.....and is more pathologically disordered...

....than Trump

At the :07 mark of the video in :“The murder of united healthcare CEO exposed a dangerous shift I societal norms”....

...and then asks: “How did this happen?”

At the :40 second mark....

....the video describes, “a cultural shift that lowers moral boundaries for targeted violence.”

...... and was inciting “2nd Amendment people” to take action to prevent Hillary from winning the election and making appointments to the Supreme Court?:

....and yet, Congressman Anthony Gonzalez announced his “retirement” from Congress at age 36...

....because after voting to impeach Trump, a “deluge” of death threats caused him to fear for the safety of his family and young children.

At the 1:04 mark, the video rightfully condemns the “lionization of Luigi Mangione”.

But nothing compares to the lionization of the sociopathic narcissist who has done immeasurable damage to the country through his incitement of the “cultural shift” of violence.

There is nothing that comes close to the cult of personality that orbits Trump.

At the 1:50 minute mark in the video:

“Mangione’s supporters are actively attempting to sway the jury towards nullification.”

Remember when Trump....an admitted serial sexual assaulter, and adjudicated sexual abuser....was on trial (and convicted on 34 felonies)?

There was extensive pressure, through fear of their own safety.....“to sway the jury towards nullification”.

Is the United Healthcare CEO's assassination, and “the mob’s” celebration of it.....a precursor to, or even the early stages of some form of revolution?

What has been the cause of most revolutions throughout history?

Wealth inequality, corruption, political oppression, and loss of faith in institutions.

Let’s breakdown these increasingly-intensifying factors of revolution:

1. Wealth inequality.

No one is doing more to exacerbate wealth inequality than Trump and his “Big Beautiful Bill”.

Billionaires are getting wealthier....while the poor potentially lose their healthcare.

2. Corruption

Trump’s corruption is unrivaled.

And he not only enriches himself, he enriches himself at the direct expense of those who love/support him....

It’s one thing to be a “tough guy” who talks shit about the FBI on a podcast.

It’s another thing entirely to actually have to make sacrifices to be “in the arena”, to bear the burden of responsibility.....

....and then whine about how difficult the job is on you and your family.

You know who didn’t complain about not seeing their family, and having to “stare at the same four walls all day”?:

Career civil servants who the bitch-titted Russ Vought bragged about traumatizing...

...and the bladder-inflamed, Elon Musk fired.

More erosion of institutional trust from the Trump administration...

....this time from those who specifically claimed they were going to “professionalize” the DOJ:

And finally.....

4. Political oppression.

Nothing defines political oppression more than disappearing people to foreign prisons....defying court orders and the constitution’s separation of powers......

Circling back to Luigi Mangione, the murder of Brian Thomas, and “assassination culture”...

...it’s naïve, and/or disingenuous to pin this solely on “Bluesky users”...

.....when there is a literal authoritarian in White House who incites violence.
