When we last met (on the page) I left you with a cliffhanger… so now a quick update and as always, some thoughts.

How is it that just when you think you are in the best part of recovery and feeling “recovered”, life decides to give you another chance to prove it.
I will begin again as a woman confident in her own skin and her own mind.

April is the first month that I didn’t publish at least one Substack post, since I started writing here in February of 2024.

Although the temps may still be cold and the snow is falling as I write this, Spring is starting to appear on the farm.

February is such a beautiful and challenging month.
So I am sitting here watching the snow fall outside my window and getting ready for an “arctic deep freeze” and a big snowstorm this weekend so naturally my thoughts come to soup.

We are halfway through January already and what a month it has been.

I decided once again, thanks to this great Substack post from Lisa Van Dyk to do a little wrap up of my year …..

I donated a favorite pair of jeans the other day.
