It never rained

I am a river of echoes

Looking for my nakedness

I feel numberless stars singing

mostly I feel like like a poem written but unheard

Night unveils its shadows… summer over lingers in my mouth… tales of loneliness unravel into cricket song… a glimpse of moon from behind the clouds… arching… from brilliance into fading… memory unravels numberless songs of who I was when the moon touched me, caressed my face into its face, kissed me deeply as it’s light danced through the trees and I soared in tree lace… so overwhelmingly…

I follow a trail of breadcrumbs, picking up words and phrases and letting the sounds mingle with my breath, hovering inside the round vowels, enjoying the staccato of consonants rolling through my teeth and lips, and I watch them form all things remembered and imagined, forgotten, maybe, the footprint I admired on a beach I tried to hold before the wind melted even the sand castles… every word a…

Symphony of dreams sighs and takes a breath…,

I seem to fall through layers of transparent photographs… old songs I cannot remember or forget… words feel familiar and strange… meaning and meaningless rhyme and have no punctuation… love’s heart magic alone speaks a language I can hear… of infinite color and light and shapes… sliding into other liquid shapes without particular boundaries… a watercolor dream singing through my eyes…

The wild winds gather and sing

She never could dot the I’s and cross the t’s… she loved language unraveling…
