On September 22, 2026, artist Stacey Williams-Ng will lead a class for paid subscribers in creating a triptych (three part) ancestral altarpiece. Class will begin at 5PM Pacific (7 Central, 8 Eastern, 10 AM Melbourne September 23)
Stacey is the owner of La Panthere Studio, and the artist behind my Ancestral Magick Oracle, the Rhythm and Soul Tarot, and several oracle decks. She’s an incredible artist and I’m thrilled that she’s going to help us all make something beautiful.
Now you may not know the word triptych, but you’ve probably seen one as they’re commonly found in religious iconography. However, a triptych can be any kind of three-panel art, like this one by Helen Condon.
The altarpiece you’ll be making in class will be for a single ancestor, or several ancestors in your family tree. You can even choose someone who isn’t an ancestor of yours but is someone you admire. For me, that would be poet Emily Dickinson.

Just click the Unlock button and download the instructions, materials needed, and a template for your altarpiece. If you don’t want to construct everything in advance, Stacey will walk us through the ‘putting all the pieces together’ part in class.
