A name with as much luxury and grandeur as the palace it is associated with, you may be surprised to learn that Versailles has been appearing in the US stats for girls since 2016, while for boys it made its debut in 2024.
Possibly meaning “slope” or “to turn around”, Versailles is also the name of the commune in North France in which the palace is situated, while historically, it may be linked to The Treaty of Versailles, which officially marked the end of World War One.
Certainly one for the bolder name lover, it could appeal to those who like Paris and Vienna but want something totally unexpected.
