Marisa Goudy · Myth Workers’ Hearth

We’re rolling down a hill of freshly mown hay, all the way to Lughnasadh.

Or maybe not? I would assume that such an activity would be really spiky and painful?

I admit, I have a lot more experience with freshly mown grass, but seeing as this is the week we had Mary Reynolds on KnotWork Myth & Storytelling and lawns are so symbolic of the trouble with modernity, I decided to go for the idyllic.

At any rate, up here in the northern hemisphere, we’re nearing the middle of summer. The festival of Tailtiu and Lugh is almost here.

There are terrible wildfires burning and it’s time to light the sacred bonfires. As ever, we’re navigating the contradictions and tripping through the liminal.

It’s clearly time to gather together and talk this through!

Join us on Sunday, July 26 at 10 AM ET for story and conversation. Every time we get together, I am amazed by the breadth and the depth of what emerges. Will you come and add your voice to the circle?
