Some weeks the three forces show up in a single situation. Some weeks they show up separately, in different rooms, on different days. This week, three observations. One pattern.
Strategy. The best plan you never executed wasn’t missing resources. It was missing a sponsor with something to lose if it failed. Ownership isn’t an org chart entry. It’s skin in the game.
Energy. “Let’s take this offline.” Perfectly reasonable when the discussion needs a smaller table. Not so reasonable when it means the conflict just got quietly shelved. Know which one you’re calling.
Process. You don’t have a meeting problem. You have a decision-making problem that shows up in meetings. Fixing the calendar doesn’t fix the system.
